Review of my show!

A lovely review on my show from last night, is found on Eddee Daniel's blog, Arts Without Borders. I was lucky to get introduced to him last night!

As for my thoughts on the show and it's turn out...it was pretty good! I got to meet some new people and share my work! And of course had some wine, so all around a great turn out for me on my first "solo" show! I do wish the weather would've been better for more people to come out, but it was great seeing all who did make it!

The show is up until the 24th so if you weren't able to make it and still want to see the work, you just have to make an appointment with John Korom, as the hours are by appointment only for the rest of the month. He can be reached at 414-257-2622 or let me know and I can get the appointment set up if you would like for me to be there too.

My show is at Gallery 2622 in Wauwatosa owned by John Korom. The space is lovely and John has given me a great opportunity for having me show there! His info can be found on his site as well.

Emerging Artists Gallery!

I will be showing work at the Emerging Artists Gallery during the Hidden River Art Festival.

Tickets are $5 (advanced) or $7 at the door. Mainly need tickets to see the whole Festival that is going on outside. Definitely worth it! Emerging Artists Gallery is indoors. Open all weekend!

Change

Things are going to be changing on the website here! New work is going to be coming for you all to see! I am introducing some of my other areas that I work with too! Also there are going to be some changes to the look of the website; so hope to see a fresher view!

In the snow...

Back to MIAD now for a couple weeks and we are having our first snow day of the winter! Aside from that all my classes are going great! New work is sure to be posted soon! Some photography and hopefully artist books as well!

Hope all is going well for everyone else! Drive safe if you're traveling!

Website..up and running..?

Hey everyone! Just a start off post to my newly created website and blog. The "Home" page works as my blog, keeping everyone updated with the most current things right when they come to my site. Look around, at my work, as well as all the fun links I will being adding!

Right now I only have my photography present, however, eventually there will be my design work, artist's books, handmade journals, and maybe even some printmaking added to the "Portfolio" page! Exciting!

I will continuously be adding and updating new things as soon as they come along! The site might be in transition for a bit...still tweaking some things, but for all intensive purposes it is good to go!
